All applicants that are/or will apple for a hunting license must possess a valid weapon license. The weapon license must be presented at the time of application [a hard copy of the weapons licence is required].
Hunting is only permitted in the part of the park that is located north of route 68 between the hours of 05:00 to 19:00. Each hunter is allowed to carry a maximum of 80 legal meat on their person or in their vehicle at any time. This is to ensure that the wildlife balance is not adversely affected by excessive hunting.
Hunting of endangered species such as Mountain Lions is strictly prohibited. Any skin or meat found on a hunter's person or in their vehicle will result in prosecution.
Hunters are not allowed to kill animals with no intention of harvesting their meat or skin. This is to prevent unnecessary animal cruelty and ensure that the park's ecosystem is not disrupted.
The park authorities reserve the right to modify or revoke any hunting license at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of park rules and regulations, safety concerns, or changes in park policies.
All hunters must abide by any additional rules or regulations established by the park authorities related to hunting in the park. Failure to comply with these rules may result in legal action and/or revocation of the hunting license.
